    Suspension Education

So, tonight I stumbled across The Suspension Bible, http://www.carbibles.com/suspension_bible_bikes.html
This is one of the most educational and interesting things I have ever read and attempted to understand. I highly recommend reading it from top to bottom.
AND, once you get to the bottom, you will have learned (more) about non-telescoping style front suspension. There is a link there pointing to Norman Hossack's website, the man who invented what I may believe could be one of the most innovative frame/suspension combos in history. http://www.hossack-design.co.uk/
Kind of too bad how things have wound up for him, I think. I'm realizing that 99% of us are riding on what should eventually be an obsolete setup.
Regardless, a great read. I urge you to check it out and let's talk about it.

S'funny that. Sometimes you think a thread will be packed and others obviosuly dont agree!!
If you really want to learn a SHITload about bike chassis design and be blinded by the shear knowledge some guys have check out the mc-chassis list on Yahoo groups...
Really amazing guys who just go and discuss and then build some amazing sounding stuff.
      Also check out these guys

Based just over the water in Jersey I believe. Chris seems to champion un-conventional front ends.
