Possible cheap source for Acewell 2700/2800 series gauges.

    Hi
I'm planning to upgrade my front end to an 04 CBR600RR and will lose my stock speedo. I came across this US based company that is selling the Acewell gauges mentioned above for less then half of what the Brit suppliers are selling it for. I thought may be some of the other people here in a similar situation might find this link handy.

I will be ordering next week and will share how it goes.
    Thanks,
    Ahmed.

    ahmed,
looks like a cool little all-around gauge. od you know how everything hooks up to it? to tell the truth, i don't even know how the stock setup works when it comes to the tachometer, and other functions such as temperature, etc...

          Hi
The speedo works off a reed switch, and a magnet that mounts to a wheel, like a bicycle speedo. The tach runs of the ignition system, and the warning lights should run directly of the stock wiring. The only thing is it doesn't have a temp gauge. Do you guys know of a very small stand alone temp gauge I can use.
          Thanks,
          Ahmed.

              Hi
Okay, I placed my order on an ACE-2803-AB
The cost was $115.00 with $15.00 shipping via USPS, so no import fees.
It should take about two weeks, so I will post pics and more details when it arrives, so stay tuned.
I think for a temp gauge, I'm gonna use a 2"Autometer gauge. I'm gonna have to fab a waterproof housing that matches the acewell but it should look cool when done.

why didn't you check out the 3700/3900 series? It has the temp guage and i saw it on a bike in the Hawk Gt forum. Very nice setup for a few bucks more

I'm not big fan of the look, The dash looks like it belongs on an ATV.
