    Yes, another F2/3 tank Queston

Everyone says to use the cheap HD petcock made by Pingel. There are several that look like they would work, although they are NOT cheap in my book.

For those of you that have done this. Do you have a specific part number? That way I know i am ordering one that will work.

    TIA Rob.

This was found on the old Hawk List : but it does mention to ask JD Hord
what is the correct part is, so I suggest you give him a call unless he is reading this
    From the Old Hawk List
The Pingle part number for the adapter is A2003C (18 mm - 1/4 NPT) msrp $9.90 and the petcock part number is 6110-AH (1/4 NPT with the fuel line attaching in the same manner as stock petcock) msrp $50.57. Different fuel line exits are available - one that exits to the front, one to the center (like the stock Hawk) and one to the rear.

However, remember that the adaptor effs up the orientation of the petcock.
You'll have to play with teflon tape to make it line up where you want.

Just so you know, those part numbers are for a pingle replacement for a stock petcock. The adapter needed for a F2/F3 tank is 22mm IIRC. also, the petcock itself (6110-ah) gets you a no reserve petcock (ie, on/off only) You can call pingle's tech/ordering phone number and ask them for the correct part numbers, or wait and someone is bound to post them here.

Thanks guys , The $50 price in the post above is still cheaper than the quote I got from the techs at Pingel. Guess I'll have to call Hord. Thanks for the tip. I'm ok with spending the money, but everyone say they are cheap. I'don't think $75 plus is cheap

I got a 22mm rear exit with a reserve unit off ebay for like $25. It is a lil bigger than the pingle, but I just modded the tank around it.
90 Hawk. What can I do to make it better?
