which super trapp are you guys using?

ive seen a few pics,i have a full system with a two brothers can(ugly gold).
i want to replace it or i will cut anbd paint
how loud is the super trapp anyway?

I've Had a full can setup on my 88. It was not to loud. But Joel on here sold me a stubby Supertrapp to try. http://www.hawkgtforum.com/viewtopic...short&start=30

as soon as I get this thing back together and running I'll let you know how loud it is. He said it was pretty loud.

I bought my Supertrapp new about 16 years ago. I currently have about 11 discs in with a fresh repacking. It's kinda loud but not bad. Mine actually got a bit louder with the repack ((shrug)).

With stock jetting and airbox, 8 discs is all you need. That's not bad at all. I've been told it's louder ON the bike than when riding by.

I'd love to try an M4, but can't bring myself to part with the cash right now.
