  • Air box delete, what to do with hoses...?

Well I Finally got around to pulling the stock air box to install the Uni filters and Stage III to go along with the new Hindle canister, been busy, just like everyone else.

Do you guys shorten the breather hose to mount the filter on that spigot...? Seems as if there will be plenty of space for that filter under the tank as is.

What do I do with the other hoses that went from the carb-a-shooters (sorry, I do not know their function) to the air box...?

    Thanks,
    Rob

I just yank that and leave it open.

Like 6 said you can just leave them open with no hoses attached. I just point them toward the back of the bike and call it done. Some people stick a filter on using a t junction, but it is not neccessary.

keep an eye on the filters as uni filters tend to crumble and turn to dust after a few years. at least mine did.

Cool. I will do just that.

Thanks 6 and Talon, What is the function of those ports...? Vents..? Hoping to get a test blast in tomorrow.

          squirrelman,
Gotcha, I wondered that very thing when I saw the texture of them, I won't even bring up the "Oil or not oil" subject. I will check them often though.
          Thanks.

I'm on the do not oil side of that debate.

              And ya, just vents.
