    Noisy Brakes

Just put some new bits on (Hyperform rear shock). Now after getting everything together I'm noticing play in my rear brake disk. Is this normal? I didn't take the rear wheel off or anything.

    Hyperform shock?
I wasn't aware there was one.
I just searched and found Hyperpro shocks... also a surprise.

Play in the rear disc as in the 4 mounting bolts are loose?

Is it possible you didn't notice this before?

I had my rotor bolts loosen on me. You have to take a lot of things off the reach them...

OR you can cut a 6mm allen wrench back really really short to get it in that tight space.

Yep...Hyperpro, typo. I already tried that with the 6mm and they just spin. I'm guessing a nut on the other side.

You're going to have to remove the rear wheel and hold the nuts!

It is difficult to believe the rear disc is not solidly mounted, standard it is bolted on to the hub against 4 fiber washers and after 30 years these disintegrate so the disc is loose, I have bolted one of mine direct to the hub, no fiber washers, the only reason I can see for the fiber washers is to reduce heat transfer.
