Looking a gasoline and ethanol-impervious epoxy

I’m working on a project that calls for an epoxy that will laugh at both gasoline and ethanol, as it will be bathed in the fluids constantly.

I’ve looked at Loctite e120 and PC Products PC-7 but I don’t have experience with either.

    Any recommendations?

    I need a bigger garage.

It's a dirty job but someone's got to do it.

Well, Caswell or POR-15 products are epoxies made for gas tanks so they might fit the bill.

Was thinking so as well, but I need to find some in small quantities or leftover.

POR tank sealant isn’t probably viscous enough. Their putty isn’t chemically resistant. I think Caswell is the same. Trying to plug a vent hole that is exposed to various fuels.

Any putty-like products than can standup on their own?

How about JB Weld putty then? No experience but it says resistent to gas.

I should say I have used it but not in a situation where it would be in gas.

What vent hole? A typical vent hole hole shoudn't be bathed constantly.

              This one will…

Not exactly a vent hole, but it’s an apt description.

Ethanol is a bitch, especially in high concentrations.

Ok. I agree, ethanol fucking sucks. Something that "kicks" with a catalyst is your best bet then.

                how bout brazing?
