    fuel pump questions...

well, i need a new fuel pump.

i have done some searching.. i know theres two kinds of pumps, electric and vacuum..
how does a vacuum pump work, and where does it connect to??

i read about some people using a pump from a SV650.. but there are no pics of this pump. no more info other then some posts saying it works.

my hawk is going to get a perform tail and subframe in the not TOO distant future... so i need something that i can fit with that. (keeping in mind, this is a street hawk, so its going to be a tight squeeze)

anyone know what my options really are? and how does this vacuum pump work at WOT?

if you have gotten rid of the stock air box there is plenty of room to hose clamp that sucker to the frame crossmember under the tank. thats were i got mine alot less gas lines running around. and thats one less thing to worry about under the seat. has for running some other fuel pump not sure never tryed that.

see, my fuel pump died... i dont even have it anymore.
i dont want to buy another stock one (for $$$) if theres a better solution out there.... but thanks for the tip...

i HAD the stock airbox on there... its never going back on there again, so i will have room there now. i didnt think about that, but i'll have a bunch of room under there.

mikuni is a great company and i think the price ain't bad either.
