replacement fuel pump

Is there a good direct replacement for the fuel pump? OEM is not available and I don't want to go the vacuum route. I hate to take a chance on a used one or a cheap one off ebay. Thanks

I bought and installed a replacement fuel pump from Hordpower. It works fine and does not leak but the pump makes a knocking noise every 15 or 20 seconds. Does anyone know if this is normal? I imagine it running and shutting off but I didn't notice the other making any noise, Thanks

your previous pump wasn't clicking because it was defective, which is why you replaced it........

Its normal. You can jump it out to run full time not only when the engine is turning. Its a pretty common and free mod. helps fill the bowls quicker and it will shut off when it feels pressure on the cab side of the pump.
