    Choke / Enricher question

Not trying to hijack this thread, but I'm getting ready to pull the carbs for a re-jet and the Holy Honda Manual sayeth: "NOTE Turn the choke lever fully in to avoid losing the choke valves."
So...which way is 'fully in'? Choke on or choke off?
Sorry to be a newbee bother.
    TIA

THX - I could just picture me doing it wrong and picking choke needles out of the drywall.

They won't fly off. They would just fall off. Not a big deal, I don't know why they make it one.

if you're only changing jets there is no need to mess with unscrewing choke connections; just flex the cables, turn the carbs upsidedown and remove the float bowls........

Whoa! Big Thanks! Right now, I'm finishing the horns install and cleaning up after de-smogging and de-airboxing. Thence onto re-jetting.
            thx
