The manual says drive bearing in til flush with surface. This has to be the first error I have come across in the manual. If you do then there is no room for the inner seal. I presume you drive it in all the way MINUS the thickness of the seal. This error manifests itself on the other side. In this case flush with the surface cannot happen as there is a lip that the bearing(s) seat against before any 'flush' can happen.(Then the circlip groove is just cleared on the other side.)
