  • Nuts N Bolts BIG torque...How?

Rebuilding my 650. Ready to tighten clutch stake nut, rotor LH bolt and pickup bolt. These all require large torques. I can't manage to get near the torque without the engine turning over. How have you guys managed this? Is there a way of locking-out the engine so it won't tur? Regards.

You can jam a rag in there to keep it from spinning and be good.
Don't spend money and buy, spend time and learn.

a penny worked fine for me, gets bent, no problem. . costs just $.001 clean, no rag threads to remove.
