  • Re torquing head bolts

I just finished changing both head gaskets and I torqued everything up to spec. I know from working on older British and American motorcycles you run the bikes up in a few heat cycles cool down and then re-torque everything.
With the Honda having just sheet metal for Gaskets doesn’t seem that retorquing would do much.
what is the consensus on checking the torque?

Hordpower would be the expert on this topic
Flock of Hawks | '13 Tacoma | '69 Falcon (currently getting reassembled!)
I've spent most of my money on women, beer, cars and motorcycles. The rest of it I just wasted.

Nothing in the manual about retorquing.

        It's not required.
Doesn't hurt to check again after a few cycles while adjusting the valve clearances tho.
