    F2 Front End...

    Hey guys, quick question...

So I've got a line on a complete CBR F2 front end... forks, wheel, fender, brake system, the works. The problem is, the guy's telling me that there's a slight bend to one of the upper fork tubes. He says he can't see it, but that other people have told him it's there.

Anyway, my question is, isn't the F2 upper fork tube the same exact part number as the Hawk's? Because if it is, I'm thinking that I can just recycle one of my stock Hawk fork tubes to replace this slightly bent F2 tube...

    Thanks!

I think that if the F2 are cartridge type forks then the tubes are different.

94 was the only year the F2 had cartridge forks.

Yeah, the 94s had cartridges, though I've read that there's hardly any noticable difference between those forks and a pair of stock Hawk forks with aftermarket springs and cartridge emulators. From what I understand, the 91-93 F2 forks were virtually identical to the stock Hawk damping rod forks.
