  • Has anyone fitted up a TZ250 or Mito Fairing?

I'm pulling together a track bike and I want to put an upper fairing at a minimum or a full fairing. Has anyone fitted a 91/92 TZ250 or a Mito150 fairing before I go to the school of hard knocks? Open to suggestions from experience. Goal is to keep it narrow to fit the bike, rs125 tail and keep it close to that late 80s era design, not to edgy.

Well, I don’t have any experience with the either, but I would expect that a TZ could be made to fit. I have had good success with RS250 fairings. The main thing to be aware of is the lower. The hawk with exhaust is much wider than a 250 down low. A lot of guys run just the upper and a pan for this reason.

Also, just be prepared for some hard knocks anyway. Mounting a fairing to the hawk is surprisingly challenging, there are lots of minor fitment, mount, and clearance issues you’ll be fighting.

This.. I've mounted body work a few times. I have yet to do it well. Lots of people mount bodywork, but not many mount it well.

      Keep us posted!

Oh boy, well I'm always up for a new adventure. Anyone have a set of 91-92 TZ250 bodywork??
