      Welcome!

As far as the clutch, I just got the whole package from Hord and it has worked perfectly.

HPR - Hordpower Clutch Kit Honda Hawk - Clutch replacement kit.  Everything you need in one shot.  KG fibers, OEM steels, 2 heavy springs, (re-use two of your originals) and a gasket.

Thanks, great to be here! Hord appears to be a well known and reputable dealer of Hawk parts. I’ve heard that the Kevlar clutches Barnett makes, have a better bite and last a bit longer. Not sure but would love to learn more. How many clutch plates in that kit?

8 fibers and 7 Honda steels, plus a cover gasket. A good deal in other words. I have used the Barnett discs previously and I have to say these KG discs seem just as good. If Hord sells it, you can rest assured it's good stuff and works.

Hi, and welcome! That's a cool bike with some nice mods. Nitron is a quality shock as well, with plenty options. I think Talon has a nice bit in the How To section adapting the cbr300 shifter.

The outer friction disc is a different part number than the inner 7 discs and is clocked differently in the clutch basket when installed.
Consult the FSM (factory service manual) for installation procedure.

A YSS shock is a very good shock at a reasonable price.

Most of the aftermarket hawk shocks are plenty good for street riding.

Penske is the shock mfg of choice for most of the racers and guys looking for something higher end.

Don't spend money and buy, spend time and learn.
