Interesting bike, I have to ask, on the third photo, is that a quick shifter and what is attached to the sprocket cover?

Yes it’s a strain gauge quickshifter. On the sprocket cover , it’s a vfr400 speedo drive . I lost a mechanical speedo drive from front wheel when I changed the front end .

Have you found that a worthwhile mod? I've no experience of them. What make is it?

(BTW, I'm in SW Scotland these days.)

I used the bros for a test bike for real world shifter development for Hm quickshifter. ( it’s a Hm plus model )
it’s been on the bike for 8yrs no issues . I love a quickshifter. Have them on all my fleet .. it’s nice changing gear without closing throttle . Even on part loads

Thank you - I'll perhaps try one on my new build!

I tried to do that and failed.... Drew built the box to do the ignition cut, but I couldn't get anything cheap to trigger it.

I’ve got a collection of wires and a circuit board from when you were going to do that at a rally a couple of years ago
Flock of Hawks | '13 Tacoma | '69 Falcon (currently getting reassembled!)
I've spent most of my money on women, beer, cars and motorcycles. The rest of it I just wasted.
