Right, now that charity ride is out of the way and I've done what I can with the unklefukker bike it's time to turn some attention to this bastard. Set the valve clearances and tarted the engine up a bit today. Next there will be juggling of cdi, loom & coils once the engine is in the frame and we'll see if it functions eh?

The idea is just to get a little extra go without it costing the earth in fuel, since it'll be a commuting bike. However, i do like cunting the living crap out of these bikes on track too so expect mechanical carnage to ensue...
I'll get going on this around the end of september - got some racing lined up and a couple of trackdays titting around with the 996 and unklefukker( cbr400 with a blade engine) - once the dust has settled from that lot i'll turn my merciless attention on to the hawk and i'll get it sorted. Muhahahahahahaha. Etc.
