    New to Forum

    Hey all,

I just signed up to this forum as I have purchased an '89 Hawk GT. My first bike was a '89 Hawk and since I had sold it in 1996 for a VFR 750 (which I still own & ride) I have been sorry for ever letting it go. I finally came across a Hawk in good condition (externally) for a decent price, not an easy feat these days as you all know. Unfortunately the bike has been sitting for quite some time so I will need to strip it down, clean it our and replace all the fluids, filters, etc. before getting it on the road.

I will most likely keep it as stock as I use the Viffer on the road and for the track. Talk with you all soon.

Howdy redrdr68! Do you race at NHIS or just do track days? Lotsa racers around here- some experienced, some newbies. Lots of hawks at NHIS (thats New Hampshire International speedway)! So you shouldn't have to go far to find answers to your hawkgt problems
