Hello everybody, I am Jeremy from Massachusetts, and I was recently hunted down by stevenjhow and told that I needed to join this forum. As at turns out, he was right, I DID need to join this forum.
So... here is my 88 Hawk GT

I bought it as a basket case on eBay for about $700 ish a few years ago. It was missing the gas tank, the entire tail section, the headlight brackets, and tons of misc little parts. Over the coarse of a New England winter, I slowly but surely built the bike to my liking.
A few things I did.....
1)I made a visor for my headlight out of steel (no bondo or filler of any kind, I hate body filler.)
2)Swapped to some different clip-ons from an unknown model bike
3)I bought a dented tank, and fixed it and painted it viper yellow with pearl white stripes.
4)I built the entire rear tail section from 1x1 steel tubing and fiberglass. I used two 1964 impala tail lights as my tail lights and directionals, and got some sticky padding for a seat.
5)I am sure I did other stuff, though I am drawing a blank at the moment.
Nice to meet all of you!!!
