Just got myself a Bros 650

After a 20 year break from biking I have just bought myself a Bros 650 today. I have just had the pleasure of riding her the 50 mile trip back home from work down the back roads. The only down side is I have to get the train back in tomorrow to pick my car up.

After my gigantic break away from two wheels I'll taking it really easy until I get used to her but I can't believe how small and nimble it is. Oh yeah, and I just love the roar of that V twin.

Apart from the forks she is pretty much stock Bros but I'll post some pics at the weekend when I take her out to a more scenic setting than the alleyway down the side of my house

Congrats on getting the Bros, and enjoy those back roads, and roundabouts! I could get a knee down if my fellow americans would figure out how to not stop in the middle of them or try to go the wrong way!!

I've been sifting through all the paperwork and there's mention of work on the shock but no details of what it is. I'll ask my colleague at work who I bought it from.

Sure, no problem. It is a 1988 and has 57000 Km (quite high) on the clock and I paid £800 (1176€). The bike was bought from a guy at work who I know has looked after it very well. He gave me the paperwork of its full service history from the last 8 years inc every receipt for every part bought for it. It was also off the road in storage for 2 of those 8 years.

Quite High ??? I bought my 400 for 1300 € last year . At 71000 km . Perhaps I should pay England a visit soon . I really like your wind shield and I have been recently looking to get me one . Do you by any chance know the manufacturer ...

                  Thanks .

Just browsing through the paperwork and happened to come across some advert for the windshield. It was purchased from http://www.pyramid-plastics.co.uk/ but I can't find the exact model. However is is very similar to the "raptor"
