Hey all you hawksters!
Just wanted to say hey to all of you out there that shares the same lifestyle of being a hawkster. Man I've been riding for over 13 years, and I've found the last bike that I want to own a 88 hawk gt!
I found her in San francisco (bought from a fellow named Jay, who was a Hawkster for 10 years, Great guy!), and had major mods done to it like f2 front end, fox shock and vfr wheels. I thought I was happy at that point when I picked her up and brought her home, but being a true hawkster, I tore her down and rebuilt her back up as for this hawk is just like any other hawk out there with over 30K on the chassis. Now 1 month later she breaths new life in her with New bearings, newer motor, better tank and plastics, ect (hopefully I could get some pictures up later on this week on the build up, which I took some pictures if I could find them!
)
Well hope to help all on the forum board, as this bike is a dying breed(harder to find out there, as I waited about 2 months looking for this one!)
and people aren't appriciating these bikes anymore like I think they should be.
So see ya'll later,
And as for the guy that went down in San Francisco, I'll buy that bike from you and save her from another bike getting scrapped!
SAVE THE NT650's!!!!!
