Hi, im from the UK and own a 954 blade, but ive just bought my girlfriend her 1st bike, a honda bros 400(jap import) we never got hawks over here, only steel framed shaft driven NTVs
I bought the bros in bits(had to repaint it as bros were a naff boyband in the 80s here)
so no major mods apart from a respray, fuel race can, reconditioned the brakes and a power bronze venom fairing!
what ya all think of her baby!

A 'Blade, huh? Very nice... I'd 'fighter that sucker in a hot minute! (Streetfighters isn't the easiest mag to find over here, and horribly overpriced at $10 a pop but I read it religiously. Those bikes really do it for me). You've got the nicest customs in the UK. We invented it, you perfected it! Streetfighters are to our era what choppers were 30 years ago...

VERY nice 400. Perfect lady's-first-bike (or guy's first bike... I'd have liked to have started out on a bike with smaller displacement but good Hawkish looks, myself... I found I could handle 647cc's decently well anyway though). I like the fairing very much - and nice job with the paint!

she had to have a 400 as theres 2 bike tests you can take here, one allows you to ride anything, they call that direct access and you take that on a 500cc machine, the other test ya take on a 125cc but your restricted to 33bhp for 2 years so the 400 comes right on the button for power!
also its nice and low which helps also. I may be getting a exe racing 650cc lump for it when shes finnished her 2 years, not sure what its had done to it, but should make it a lot more fun?
shame the wheels dont show up so well in the pic, there actually black with gunmetal flake in, and the rest is just gloss black and 5 coats on clearcoat!
heres mine, its an 03 954, it now has a Quill slipon, ohlins damper and a PC3
