New Hawk-ist

Hello guys,

I have been lurking around here for a little while now so i figure i mise well go ahead and post. I am the somewhat new owner of an 88 hawk track bike. The track section of the site has been pretty helpful and interesting, looks like there are quite a few of you guys racing up north. I am in Hampton, VA. Any other hawk track riders in the mid atlantic? Have my first track day with the hawk on July 7th at VIR south. Can't wait to get a chance to really ride the thing.

I wish I could take credit for it. There has been a lot of hark work and time put into it, by the previous owner. I took the easy route and just put the money into it.

Previous owner is a machinist, so he made some small bits for the bike (clipons, rearsets, etc) as well as rebuilt a new motor for it. F2 front end, penskie shock for the rear, Weisco 1mm overbore, and undercut trans.
