    yo im nate, 18, bike newbie. i have ridden 400 dirtbikes and mopeds and such but never streetbikes.

    just bought my first bike (hawk obviously) '88 with supertrapper exhaust, corbin seat, rest is stock

    nice to find out im not the only one who thinks this bike is a gift from the gods.

      Even for riders with experience on DUCS and SV's ... I loved the hawk
      so much.. i sold my 2004 model SV just to buy a nice clean hawk...
      Loving every ride better than on the SV...
      1989 type I - F2 front end - Technoflex rear shock - K&N Filter - Dynojet kit - Braking Discs - Rizoma indicators - Rizoma mirrors - hiperform exhaust... hmmm what's next?!

          The Hawk is not only a good beginner bike but it makes a fine racer.
