I'm getting ready to go all out and make it a racebike/fun project/showcase. It will have a Rake of 22 degrees. With custom billet 6061 or 7075 al Triples that mount up to 05-06 600RR forks. I'm moving the my butt up and forward an inch. i.e. new tank...so I'm going to make a fake gas tank, and put the airbox and real tank under it. Custom subframe. RS125 tail. Re-made wire harness. Engine will eventually breath a little better and be a 700. Engine stuff isn't that important to me. A lot of other stuff. Oh, and I'm going to stick with the stock Hawk wheels cause they look good.

Since I'm replacing like 80% of the stuff on the bike I was thinking about selling the old stuff. I might be selling the Tank, Tail, stock subframe, front forks with triples which are race ready for a 155 lb rider, If you gave me enough cash I might part with the fender. I might sell the tank, tail and fender as a matching set, who knows. I'd like some offers. I'd like to see if I think it's worth it to sell the stuff.

Here are some pics...btw, how do I get to use HTML?

Nice. Like the paint and graphics, subtle.

That Duke mudguard isn't ziptied on surely?

Got any more shots of the RHS?

No it's not ziptied. Those are the factory Duc mounts, slightly modified to work on the Hawk. I'll get some right side pics up later tonight.

          BEAUTIFUL.
Did you make that carbon fiber gauge cluster yourself? I'm trying to fab one myself, right now... we've done some of the same mods, with the clipons under the triple and all. I'll have to post some pics of mine....

Everything was done by me. The carbon cluster is super easy. Also it's just a flat piece carbon, so you could make it out of al or plastic, whatever. I had a bunch of carbon so I made it out of that.

from the photos it looked like a whole housing... it's just a flat piece of material? That's exactly what I've got going on right now!

Did you do the Graphics yourself? I like the typface used for the Honda logo esp. on the tank.

                  Nice work.

1989 Hawk GT - As a whole, it is gone, but it now lives vicariously as a small part of several other Hawks on this website.

Yeah, I did the logos as well. I got a buddy with a vinyl cutter, so he cut em out for me. I made it using a Ducati font.

What radioactive material do you have behind that door? Is that anything to do with your latest mod?
