    N00B from San Diego

Just a shout out to all you Hawkers.

I've been riding street for about 13 years and I have owned a Hawk for the last 6 or 7. My little gem is just a simple mostly stock hawk with about 27,000 miles on the clock. I have added a rear Fox shock, progressive springs in the forks with new seals and oil of course, EBC front disk with HH pads, TBR ignition advancer, K&N, custom exhaust made from stock headers, muzzy Y-pipe, and a shortened Termignoni carbon fiber exhaust.

Welcome! I am guessing by "mostly stock" you mean... yeah if yours is mostly stock mine is SUPER stock... you got some nice mods on there. Post a pic of it if you can....

I unfortunately took a spill on one of my favorite roads and scraped up the little girl. So pics will be a little ugly and this is how I found this forum...I need parts and advice. I have been riding Ducs and Husqvarnas for a bit now and I think that is why I took my spill is that the brakes on my little hawk suck. Suck being relative to my Supermoto. I'll get some posted soon though.

Ouch... that sucks... yeah the stock brakes do suck. I ended up going F2 front end b/c the double rotors and SS lines make a huge difference. Others will disagree, but I have ridden and owned 6 sportbikes before this most recent one, so... yeah.
You should throw another front end on (I suggest the F4i if you got about $400-500 to spend). Although it seems like you already started upgrading the stock forks and brakes.
