Hi all, Just accuired a 1989 Euro spec Revere 650. I think it's a RC33? Wanted to say hi and gather as much knowledge as possible. Seems to be a good group with a wealth of experience with this bike. Only thing I have noticed is a leaking fork seal, so I'm workin' on that. Will be taking it to the Gap this month to play and do some sight seeing. So, Hello! I'm sure I will be chatting with many of you in the future. K.

I'm not in what Virginians call Northern Virginia, but I'm not too far away. Let us know if you'll be passing by on Skyline or 81.
There are a couple more Bros scattered around the US, definitely a bunch of their transmissions.
There are better pictures somewhere, but check out this Revere makeover:

I'm in Warrenton area. Not too far from either one of you. Always up for a weekend or weekday ride with some planning ahead in the mountains. I have enjoyed alot of local roads but, I'm sure I have missed a few. The Revere does in fact have a steel frame and shaft drive. Not a racer, but it seems capable enough for it's intended use. (Wife will be riding it). I have other bikes for that purpose. It is completely stock and original. I think I like it that way and most likely will leave it that way. If she decides she wants something more aggressive, I will get her another bike as opposed to altering this one. Going to leave 10-18 to the Gap and since we are taking the RV and trailering 4 bikes, we will most likely head down 29 to 33 to 81. Thanks for the welcome and keep me posted on local rides. Always good to meet new people to ride with. K.

Give a shout if you want to stop in some big Wally World parking lot in H'burg for a meet 'n' greet.
Might be doing a quick, leisurely run this Saturday AM with a fairly new Shadow rider, taking the long, curvy way (via WV) to Staunton's Oktoberfest. Sweet roads, but I'll be taking it easy at the other rider's pace. He saw the Hawk in my garage, and now has a hankerin' for it, so I'll probably take it out.
I've got some good friends in Warrenton, too. Any chance you know the Patti family?
