NEW Hawk Fan in Germany

Hello to everybody!

Let me give you a short introduction and please excuse my mistakes:

I am a 28 years old and started to drive and screw on my HAWK
last year.
My plan is t make a superlight racing Hawk and ... maybe you won't believe it, but she run last time 1991 and ran/started without a problem this year on the track!

Welcome, I've never had the chance to screw on the Hawk but now I have a new goal to obtain. If you have pictures I'm sure their worth alot of points in the scavenger hunt

I am the girlfriend of Thorsten Durbahn, maybe you have heared about him.
When it will be finished I will show some pics, but for the moment it is more or less original and you would be bored.
....only heavy parts have been thrown away (alternator, ignition lock, etc) but it will become a little racing baby ...boom baby

The Hawk is a great basic, but there are things you can make better.
And the Hawk is absolutely worth enough to work hard for it , to get the best
out of her. I will nothing do on the motor itself, cause: I CAN'T
but I think, if you can make something better, make it better.
Lots of people told and advised me to buy an R6 or R1 or a CBR600 (except Durbahn of course), but I felt in love and never felt so good on a motorcycle, so I am insisting on my plans and will show it to the R6 and whatever
but I also like her original - you are right!

Phoenix, when I started reading your thread, I thought "I've got to tell her she lives in the best possible place in Europe for Hawk owners - Germany - second only to the US since we've got Hord and Lenac! But I had no idea just how right I was!!! Thorsten's a bit of a celebrity to us...
