    Greetings fellow Hawk Pilots!

Hello to all Hawk GT Riders:

Just joined the forum today. Happy Independence Day to all those on this side of the pond.

I ride an '89 Red, 64K miles, owned since bought new in '91. I am mostly a lurker on the Hawk email Listserv but thought I would meet and greet some of you here who prefer a forum.

As you might guess, I ride in the Mouse Town area - that'd be in and around Orlando, FL.

    Hey Rick and welcome!

I'm also an "original owner" of my Hawk. Bought new in 89 (88 model) as my first bike and can't seem to get tired of it!

So how much does the Hawk roll these days? With the B1200 and SV in the garage, it must be a tough decision!

Welcome to the Forum Rick..Sounds like you might have a rough choice deciding which bike to ride.
When you get a chance you should post up some pictures of your bikes, i'd love to check em out.

            Hiya Tusk:
I love riding all my bikes and try to ride them in rotation or whichever one is more appropriate for the particular trek planned. After all, letting a bike just sit around unused is unforgivable neglect, right?

I average at least 3000 per year on each of the bikes.

              Hi Soul:
Thanks in advance for efforts as site admin. I would have sent pictures but I couldn't find in the FAQs or general info what the size limit is for posting pictures. If I know that, then I can resize (if needed) the pictures of the bikes that I wanted to post.

Thank you Hawk Jr and Vtwin650 for your warm welcomes. Motorcycle email lists and forums that have greatly increased my enjoyment of our beloved sport. It has also provided a social outlet that has rewarded me with new friends and local riding compadres.

Until the next "adventure in motorcycling"........
