Hello fellow Hawk'ers, my name is Biscuit and I'm in Raleigh NC. I have a 1989 red Hawk with just under 18k miles on it. I'm the third owner, and it's great for me that I found one not ridden all that much.
Other than the pods, pipe and jet kit I plan on leaving my Hawk bone stock. I am putting in the race tech valve emulators and I upgraded the front disc to a Braking wave rotor, but that's all I plan to do.
I've been wanting a Hawk since 1989 and I finally got one and I don't plan on letting it go. Great to find the Hawk community is still vibrant and I look forward to picking your brains about one of my favorite motorcycles.
I'm going to use my Hawk to learn how to race, with plans to upgrade to a RC-51 or a Ducati 748 and returning the Hawk to the street as a daily driver.
