I just bought a Hawk last night! I didn't even ride it until today! It is an 88. It fits me perfect. I had a 250 then jumped (maybe a little too soon) to an SV650 and then found this bike and my BF though that this was the PERFECT bike for me. I will say I defnitely LOVE IT! I am the 3rd owner.

Welcome to the site! The hawk is a great bike and it loves to be pushed in the corners..
I think mine just hates having riders even bother trying to brake in a corner..
I look forward to seein some pics of the bike!

The Hawk's a great bike for all different skill levels - it won't be "too much bike" for you, but in the right hands it can spank a SV650 on the track. Enjoy!
