Just purchased a hawk, introducing myself.

Hello, my name is Jason. I just purchased a honda hawk today. It is a red 1989 model, and I am very excited about picking it up. Hopefully I will be able to pick it up tomm. or fri. I just wanted to say hi. I have been reading up on this forum for the past 2 weeks or so in my search for a hawk. I previously had a kawasaki ninja 500, and I enjoyed it a lot but I've always wanted a naked streetfighter. I started to research different bikes and the honda hawk seemed to be a perfect match for what I wanted and what I could afford. I don't have any pictures yet, because I do not have the bike just yet but here is the link to the ad from which I located it.

I'm looking forward to taking it out for my first trip on it, other than the very short test ride. I am located in New Jersey, specifically Hillside which is extremely close to Newark, Elizabeth, and Irvington, and If anybody wants a riding partner just post a reply or send me a pm. I know I am going to be looking for people to ride with, and would like to also ride with some hawk owners . Once again just saying Hi, and hopefully I will hear from some of you.

Welcome to the Forum! I'm in Queens and end up cutting through parts of Jersey on a lot of rides lately - I've been going up rte23 to Hawk's Nest in Pt. Jervis as often as possible! Anytime you want to ride give me a shout. I'm riding this weekend if you still have the Ninja.
