Hi gang!! I live in florida---land of heat,rain, and hurricane-----do not do cages----only ride bikes. I am 72yo---had heart attack and so cannot do extensive trips(would love to!!) ,because of limited endurance. However, ride 40--50k a year here in florida. this past year hve sold all bies but the Hawk. If I can ever be of any help to any lister traveling down here(maybe to Daytona??) please Holler-----I live near the west coast-------Lecanto.-----Glad Dave put up this forum---I like Forums and hope it grows.-------Ride,you only have today.-------Kingfish

40-50k a year is incredible!! If I may ask how many miles does your hawk have on it? (Though I'm sure some of the other bikes took most of the riding before)
How long have you been riding?
You should get a pic of two of your bike for the members rides section.
I too like forums and I hope it grows,I'm sure it will.

Soul-----My Hawk is a 89 red--matching Targa fairing--custom corbin solo seat with red welt--tank bra---polished wheels and fork lowers---gold chain and all engine and acc bolts are gold anodized with red centers--red scott grips---has17000 miles--pretty much flawless---Has complete M4 system and jettedcarbs.this bike has been in storeage for 4 years and i have just done complete service etc---new tires Avon 45/46 SP with 160 rear going on wednesday. Bike is a 9.7---------I ride almost every day and do not use cars so put on miles. I do solo riding mostly--quite a few 200 mile days,picnics etc----do not do cities ,just rural country roads.This past year,due to really wet,hot nasty weather ,i probably am down to around 30k for year. hopefully weather will get better soon!!! I will try to get a digital pic of bike( I am a net dummy and have a webtv) taken by my DIL. and post it---------nuff about me---how about you????--------kingfishComment

Very cool! I'd hade to only have a bike to get around, but I've considered it and it would be rather cool. Just a pain to haul stuff, like groceries and stuff! How do you manage that?

Machismo 111-----I have a set of chase harper sport bags that fit beautifully on the hawk,yet can be removed in less than a minute-----And i have a 6ft length of leather shoelace wrapped around the bungee tie pegs on each side. You would be amazed at how much you can carry-----I havent tried carrying an 8ft 2x6 yet!!-------I have removed the passenger peg assembly as i only ride solo. KingfishComment
