Have been lurking for a while, thought it time to introduce myself.
I bought a stock '89 Hawk from a good friend 7 years ago.... and everything went downhill from there.
Modifying is definitely addictive!!! and it is so fun on this bike. My wife does'nt yet get it why I keep 'fixing' stuff that already works on the bike.
I've done a lot of mods, with quite a long list to do this winter. Briefly:
Entire F2 front end, oversize EBC rotors, cartridge emulators, 700cc wiseco pistons, oversize / ported intakes, VFR rear (180 for looks), LED signals (2 colour), CBR 900 shock, under engine exhaust, 153 cam with slotted sprockets, UNI pods, 160 jets, and some other custom stuff... It never ends.
Can someone PM me to let me know how to put pictures directly in the message? I'll post pics in the members rides if I can get it figured out.
