    just saying hi. I've owned a '90 hawk for 8 years now.

    I bought it very clean. I actually promised the guy I'd never race it (ha!). I raced it a bit back in 98 & 99, rode it street for the last 7 years then, about 3 weeks after I got it exactly like I'd always wanted for the street, I started racing again... damn murphy's law.

    Prior to stripping it for racing the mods list was:
    f2 front wheel & forks
    sv650 headlight (they fit in the stock bucket with some mod, makes a huge difference at night)
    clipons
    m4 pipe/jet kit
    vfr rear wheel
    '94 900rr rear shock
    there's more, but I can't think of anything else at the moment.

    Welcome! Sounds like a fun little Hawk you have created for yourself. Would like to see some pictures when you get a chance.

        thanks man. i'm on mabe racing's site (user scott). i started racing loudon in august and spent the last race weekend w/ the mabe guys. had a blast, great people. can't wait for next season. thanks for the links.
