  • Hi...........

    Hi,

Hope you are all well. I'm based in the UK

I'm in the process of buying a GT650. I'm looking forward to riding it but it has been unused for quite sometime. It starts up but needs a good check over and proper service.

I tried to use the link I found to download the workshop manual but it doesn't work. Can anyone point me in the right direction where I can download a PDF copy to use when I don't have internet while I'm outside on the driveway.

    Thanks!

Check to see if that link works.
Helpful way to search the forum... google has search functions that let you specifically find key words for a specific site. So to find a shop manual and pdf type.

Hello Snap! Welcome to the Forum. In the absence of a pic, what can you tell us about your Hawk?

Clean the carbs, flush the tank, change the fuel filter, oil and oil filter, spark plugs, make sure it has a solid battery. Make sure the forks aren’t leaking and the chain will s nice and loose. Then enjoy!

I've spent most of my money on women, beer, cars and motorcycles. The rest of it I just wasted.

Will do. I also want to do the valve clearances.

The fuel cap doesn't open as the key won't turn so I need to open it somehow without going gorilla on it and snapping the key in the lock.
