  • Long-time Hawk rider / New member

    Hi all-

New member here with two lovely Hawk GTs in the stable. Whenever I have questions about track riding the 600rr or SP1, I consult the Hawk to fix the problem. After 20+ years it remains my goto. I expect there are many others on this forum who feel the same way.

    Glad I found this forum!

        ExTex and Harpo-

Thank you. An ‘89 and a ‘90, both red. One has low miles in street trim with pods and a sweet M4 system. The other has pods and a Two Brothers system with unknown track miles. Both run like tops. The tracker is enjoying a head rebuild and the streeter needs nothing but more frequent riding.

I toyed with the idea of fairings for the track Hawk; so glad I left it alone. This bike always gets a thumbs up, even when riding with the expert groups on track.

        Cheers,

        Russell H. Davies

Every time I've ever mounted fairings to one of my race hawks I can't get them to stop from dragging. People have done it, and people that generate as much or more lean angle than I (I would imagine), but I've had no luck at all.

            6-

the Hawk brings joy that I have not found on other bikes. Leaving it naked allows me to drag my toes, too!
