I cycle. get it. Icycle.... yeh.
I primarily road ride. I have a carbon fiber trek 2300. I used to race mtn bike in college but stick to the road now. I find it almost as satisfying as riding the Hawk. Almost. I think I ride both the Hawk and my bicycles about the same amount of time. Usually not as much on the mileage side. Something about the silence of riding the bicycle down smooth roads in the middle of nowhere, climbing that mile long steep hill, or pedaling my heart out so as to keep the draft of a car going 30mph. Knowing that the only thing that got me there and will get me back is me.

I saw a fixed gear bicycle in the background of one of our members pictures and saw where someone else had commented on it. I know my interest in two wheels goes way beyond the Hawk, in fact, the Hawk has been my most recent obsession. I have cycling buds who are also into motorcycles and know this has to be a common thing. I am wondering how many Hawk owners here also cycle to some degree. I dont mean you have a bicycle - I mean that you in some manner, ride - not that you merely know how to ride. I go through my cycles (no pun intended) where i ride more than others but generally get out a few times a week. Who else cycles? what kind of cycling do you do? what is it about two wheels that is so addictive?
