    Hall of Shame

    My local tyre fitter has added a "Hall of Shame " which shows the
    state of some of the tyres that come into his shop.............

    "Life may begin at 40, but it doesn't get real interesting until about 150."

    Wow! And I thought my friend was the only one dumb enough to ride on a seriously balded tire! I saw a guy do a big huge burnout on a burn board at Laconia bike week- he had the bike bouncing off the rev limiter and was so proud of himself that he failed to realize the heat the tire was generating! Until the tail section melted in half!

      I ride mine down until the threads are showing in the middle, im more concerned about the sides....this set the the tires may end up bald on the sides before the middle though, we'll see...

        I have sprockets that look like that from back in the day. I will have to post em up. They are on my "offerings to the Gods od speed wall"
