A friend of mine asked me about this little device, I had never heard of it... Has anybody here? Is it legit? Seems a little gimmicky.

Yeah, any time its for a Hardly and the description says striking you can only assume its cosmetic.

I happen to have one on my harley, and yea, they look cool and thats about it. Probably less restrictive than the stock epa air box. Manufacturer says they add horse power but my dyno guy says anything that is opened and closed by the vacume of the intake is most likely restricting air flow. he said the same thing about the turbulator. Not something you are going to see on a hawk gt. ever.
