haha that's funny
there was this guy called Mr. obvious on the radio
and he took this younger kids call and it kind of went like this:
mr. obviuos: "hello your speaking with Mr. obvious what can I do for you today"
caller: "ah hello Mr. obvious"
Mr. obvious: "hello"
caller: "well first I just want to thank you for taking my call Mr. obvious"
Mr. obvious: "thank you for calling"
caller: "ok bye bye" click!
kid hung up
a pointless phone call and your rant reminded me of that.1988 & 1991 hawkgt, 2005 rc51

If you guys have ever listened to Tom Lykis, he will totally mess with people that aren't ready to talk...or if they ask "is this Tom?" he says "oh you wan to talk to Tom!, hold on please" then goes through his whole introduction again, sometime it goes over and over agian, it's pretty funny-NEVER LET YOUR FEARS STAND IN THE WAY OF YOUR DREAMS-

The best guy Talk Radio guy over here was Mike Dicken who was sadly killed in a car crash last year. He was the grouchiest, grumpiest old fart who hated everything about modern-day Britain. One of his pet hates was when a caller would call in and ask "how are you Mike?" to which he would reply "My health in not in question." Ironically, this catchphrase would have been very apt on his epitaph. RIP Mike Dicken.'88 Bros NT650J
