Hey man, I noticed that there is a plethera of these crappy spam threads especially in here in off topic...If you need some help I would be glad to volunteer to clean up...I live on this board lately lol, and it would be my way of giving back...Let me know if you want me to help!

you now should be able to moderate most of the spam filled areas of the board.


btw, other admins.. i made a "spam cleanup" group, so you can just add users to that if you want.
lol, this is the only board ive ever even remotely considered doing something like this.. lol.

Im pondering sacking up a few bucks and switching over to a better forum software, like vbulletin, so we can maybe get quicker access for bot prevention stuff..and you know, we can have chat and some other stuff that everyone seems to like.
Would be kinda nice to setup a hawk nite on the chat or something.

Yea, I was pondering a donation thing or maybe just a raffle to purchase the vbulletin software, I think that is the way to go to get some extra features. We'll see how my interview goes on Monday, maybe it'll be my treat.
We now have over 100$ in new enough cash so a raffle for a gift card or something is a possibility.

Say,

could one of the full Moderators delete the user "swicIdioricip"
I've moved about a half dozen of their "bounteeburb" posts to the spam area now, but they keep posting new ones.

I deleted swicIdioricip and I banned his host domain. Thanks for letting me know, as most bots only post once it seems.
