Site behaviour

I'm wondering if it's possible to change the behaviour of the site.
When I go to "Today's Posts" and click on a topic, the default view is the first post in the thread. I have to click on "Latest Activity" to see the most recent posts.
Is it possible to change the default behaviour to either jump to the last post?
I looked all over in Settings and nothing seems to apply.

If you hit the double arrow at the bottom right, it will go to the last post.
