What a coincidence! My sister has one, recently discovered living under her tool shed.

^^ thanks for that. i welcome any woodchuck observations or stories as i have alot to learn about them.

the one i photoed lives under a disused building across the street from our workshop, and i'm training him to take peanuts from my hand.

Watched the MotoAmerica race at Pittsburgh this morning.. One of their buddies got too close to the action on track during the warm up lap of the Sunday race.

Everyone dodge'm without any bumping but he was a lucky MoFo FoSho.

We have at least one on the farm. See him all the time.. BIG guy/s.

Luckily they stay out of the pastures. I think they are loving by the sheds on the storage sides..Horses and ground holes don't mix.

As long as the stay where they have been they are welcome here. If they start moving into the fields we will have to relocate them.

Very cute things. I want to play with them.
Don't spend money and buy, spend time and learn.

Maybe he will give you a more accurate weather forecast than the other, much more famous, groundhog?

I have a ton of them in the yard, they burrow into the side of the gully where the stream is.
Flock of Hawks | '13 Tacoma | '69 Falcon (currently getting reassembled!)
I've spent most of my money on women, beer, cars and motorcycles. The rest of it I just wasted.

yeah, he likes peanuts, corn and sweet potato. my goal is to have him take peanuts from my hand, and he was sitting just 4 feet from me recently, but he's a shy, cautious animal.
