    CNC handgun grips!

I'm on vacation and it's time to do some non-motorcycle fun stuff! I've been on the lookout for a Ruger Mark IV locally on and off for a year. I strolled into Sportsmans Warehouse and they have 4 of them! Wow, 2 used and 2 new. I walk out with a used Lite model in gold with pimpy grips. I decided to model them and make them out of walnut. They turned out awesome and it was cool exercise in taking an image to a model. It's missing the bolt stop button on the left as I'm waiting for an upgraded one from Tandem Kross.

I may also make these out of aluminum. It will help with the weight balance as the lower action is made of polymer to reduce weight.

    Nice work!

I love mine. Mine is stainless with a bull barrel.

Thanks! You got the nice (read pricey) version. I like the one button disassembly. I just added a fiber optic front sight since the stock one was just plain black. I wanted the threaded barrel.
