    I knew it!

I've learned a long time ago that battling squirrels is a lost cause. They are just too resilient as a species.

        Ok... Listen

"Five farm workers were charred to death when a high-tension power supply cable snapped on being disturbed by a squirrel"

If a squirrel can take down your power line, can you really blame the animal? Come on now... What do they weigh, a pound?
Don't spend money and buy, spend time and learn.

^^ yeah, i suspect power companies' regular go-to to explain power outages is the squirrel excuse, hiding issues of poor maintenance or human error.

Regarding the crash in Manchester. I tell my wife, Don't brake, or try to avoid hitting a squirrel darting across the road. I fear her getting in an accident like in the article.

well, the thing is since they're unpredictable (squirrely) that's not totally possible always.

Cute from a distance, but can be a pain in the butt. I once had to extricate one from my attic.

I've spent most of my money on women, beer, cars and motorcycles. The rest of it I just wasted.
