  • How's your day?

I'm in Portsmouth babysitting comast installers this morning. It's beautiful and a good place to spend the morning. My wife and fried Jan are coming up to grab a cup of coffee.. not a bad one so far (famous last words).

    How's y'all's days going?

Work. But I do like my job and co-workers a lot. Would really rather be riding my Hawk, but we are looking at more 80 degree weather in the PNW, so I will certainly get my chances. Leaves are starting to change for some Fall pics too.

Went to an Asian place last night with a slef-serve wine, beer, sour, cider wall. Pretty damn cool. So I have some leftover food from last night to enjoy as well as some leftovers from Ono Poke (owner is a member here) that I picked up for my wife before I left for dinner with my sisters. Sarah had an online school meeting and couldn't go out.

    Good day so far!

Typical work day for me. Up at 4:30 am, workout, shower, ride in on the Hawk (39 degrees here) get off at 2:30 for a much better 60 degree ride home then cut the grass.
Riding in the 30s is making me think about heated grips.

Rather be riding but I may get out tonight before the sun sets. I've yet to ride the Hawk since doing the cush drive fix.

Got up at 330am to fly to Detroit for an all-day work meeting with a supplier. In the airport waiting to fly back home now.

Dead tired but it was a pretty productive meeting and I got free lunch so hey, not too bad. I'll probably stay home tomorrow.

I am a glutton for punishment. I used to work outside in the winter so I am kinda used to it. I will say my Milwaukee heated jacket under my leather is a life saver.

That a standard day for you?

                    Damn.

Supplier for what? Never mind. Don't say it. I've heard about those meetings. Remember, burner phones CAN BE TRACED TO YOU! The DEA is no joke..

You do what you gotta do to get as man days in as you can. Layers and heated gear work. I would normally be heading to Barber Vintage days this weekend, I've left here in 35 F and by the time I'm south of Boston half my gear is packed away in the bags. Coming home it goes the other way LOL

                        Haha. Hell. No.

I ride for enjoyment and there is nothing hate more than being cold. South of Boston is still deff not the south. I was downtown third morning at the seaport... It was brutal cold and it's only September..

Samsies. Just landed after 8hrs on a 787 from Heathrow. Standing in customs line now!

I did get to see the HMS Belfast and visit the Tate in between meetings. So that was cool.

I've spent most of my money on women, beer, cars and motorcycles. The rest of it I just wasted.
