    Happy New Year!

Hope you all have a happy new year!

I've spent most of my money on women, beer, cars and motorcycles. The rest of it I just wasted.

    Same to you and y'all!

Looks like I might get a ride in tomorrow, that sets a new year off on a good trajectory...

        Happy New Year fellow Hawksters!
This forum is entirely dedicated to wasting time and money modifying a slow motorcycle. - joel

Our Hawks have all the power any mature, sensible rider can use on any street or highway without carrying around excessively unnecessary big-bore weight and power - squirrelman

Bike builds can be and most time are art and expression. To take something mass produced and impersonal and make something personal that you can't stop staring at as you walk away. There is nothing I find more satisfying than looking at something cool and beautiful and thinking "I made that". - 6

          Happy new year y'all!!

Anyone else not understand why that have been selling 2023 model year cars before today? If it was designed, manufactured, sold, registered and driven in 2022, please explain to me how that is a 2023 car?

If we are going to make changes as a society for this fresh start of a new year, we should start there.. imo.

          We need forward progress.

Also, I watched Idiocracy last night with Dan and the boys. About 3/4 the way in we swapped to watch the ball drop, the Kia ball, and it was cheered on by a bunch of people with weird hair, in Planet Fitness gear and crocks..

Unfortunately, I think they may have nailed that one.

Great, I took your lead and went on a ride as well, but only about 1/2 the distance.

Mine was actually pretty darn good.... I'd take another year like that.

A little brisk still and very dirty roads, but not a bad morning:

Usually there are a couple hundred bikes here on a Sunday morning, but less than a dozen of us today. Two guys on bicycles rode past, then turned around and came back to ogle the motos. One said to the other, "That's a Honda Hawk GT! Those are really cool!" Made my morning

As a bicyclist and Hawk owner, that is very cool to hear.
