    Get far enough from any time period and its people seem barbaric.

    Its a gross habit of humans. Keep looking back at the past generations and coming up with reasons why we are "better" now...

    I took the time to read the whole MKJ speech the other day. I could not help but think how controversial MLK's words would be now if posted anonymously. He also states the importance of the Constitution and its promise it provides for all.

    Man had a lot of backbone. May have been a flawed human (aren’t we all?) but he helped push this country forward by leaps and bounds.
